goood: If you have a minute, I want to make sure that I understand the RESTful API permissions model correctly. It looks like the integrator needs the openapi permissions at their home ou, and then they need regular Evergreen permissions for any objects they retrieve or manipulate. |

Dyrcona: yes, that's right. specifically, as a peer to opac and staff login types, I've added an api login type. that's where the requirement comes from, and it's there to allow client "user" segregation, just like it keeps patrons from being able to log into the staff client. |

there are "api set" permissions also, gating (by default) access to different sections of the openapi space. it can check for specific ones, also. the actual data perms are still needed |

Bmagic: IRC is getting scraped, at least some channels. There are probably channels with bizarre names where its nothing but bots sending each other orders, etc. IRC used to be use as a command and control channel by some crackers. |
