"const" apparently doesn't mean what it means in other languages or at least, it's not as strong a guarantee as it is in others. I see "const" things being modified all the time. |

Getting a sort to work elsewhere in 3.15.4 convinces me that the issue is somewhere in the eg-combobox hierarchy, because the widget where the sort works doesn't use eg-combobox. Of course, I've looked that code over multiple times and diffed it with 3.16 and don't see the issue. |

The debugger hasn't been useful either because only 1 breakpoint that I've set has actually triggered for me so far. |
