And, I think the problem could be related to Redis and our configuration. I can reproduce the issue on a vm with that configuration. I'll test it on one with Ejabberd to see if it also happens there. |

Just for the logs/interest: On my test system with Redis, mark item lost did 740 events, and 20 of them failed to mark the item lost. These are still checked out as far as Evergreen is concerned, and not set the lost or any other "state." |
