16:46 csharp_ autogen.sh: what do you actually do nowadays?
16:47 csharp_ I don't see OrgTree.js getting referred to in non-XUL/non-old-reporter contexts
16:48 csharp_ and while it's nice that it checks for existence/writeability of jacket dirs, we don't need it to every time, eh?
16:48 csharp_ I must be missing something, but right now the only thing I *know* it does is refresh org proximity
16:49 csharp_ also not seeing fmall.js or fmcore.js in non-XUL/non-old-reporter places
16:55 jeffdavis looks like the org tree gets cleared from cache while OrgTree.js is built
16:57 jeffdavis So when you modify the org tree, you run autogen to clear the old cached tree
16:57 jeffdavis Then presumably the next time some EG process tries to lookup the org tree, it notices the cache is empty and repopulates it with the updated tree
16:58 csharp_ that makes sense
17:00 jeffdavis If the js files aren't actually used anymore (haven't verified this), maybe osrf_control should have --refresh-org-tree and --refresh-org-proximity options and we could get rid of autogen?
17:01 csharp_ yeah, was just thinking about that
17:01 csharp_ not seeing the text 'OrgTree.js' in active places so far
17:01 csharp_ unless it's doing something I'm not expecting, looks like it would just be in the cache?
17:02 csharp_ and that would be great to move it to osrf_control
