random thought: I should be using tig more often |
| 14:56 |
Dyrcona |
Never used tig. |
| 14:56 |
csharp_ |
well, I used to use the git UI for easy viewing of commits, etc. - this is similar |
| 14:57 |
Dyrcona |
Yeah. ncurses. |
| 14:57 |
csharp_ |
tig so far is intuitive for Linux-y/bash-y/vim-y users |
| 14:57 |

j/k for up/down, / for search, etc |

(I think I reversed those - j is down, I think) |

they have been absorbed into the csharpmatrix |

Probably the same as vi(m). |

So, we're having an issue with Angular print templates on our test system, and I wonder what would cause this: eg.print.template.error {name: 'hold_pull_list', id: undefined} |
| 15:08 |
Dyrcona |
I'm assuming no data coming back. A busted IDL would probably be visible elsewhere. |
| 15:09 |

Dyrcona: I see that when something perl-ish is not compiling |
| 15:10 |
Dyrcona |
OK. I'll check for syntax errors. |
| 15:11 |
csharp_ |
"that" = "errors similar to that" |
| 15:16 |
Dyrcona |
I get a lot of subroutine redefined warnings, but no syntax errors. I'll check again. |
| 15:28 |
Dyrcona |
meh. I'm having a hard time filtering out those Subroutine .... redefined lines. grep's not cooperating with find/perl -c. |
| 15:30 |
csharp_ |
{name: printReq.templateName, id: printReq.templateId} |
| 15:31 |
Dyrcona |
That's going to be in Angular? |
| 15:31 |
csharp_ |
might be able to add some debugging in eg2/src/app/share/print/print.component.ts |
| 15:31 |
csharp_ |
yeah |
| 15:32 |
csharp_ |
sorry - I jumped to the perl theory without actually looking at where the error was coming from |
| 15:33 |
Dyrcona |
I'll look into that. |

From the person who reported the issue: "Of course it's an Anubis issue. As soon as I went to the OPAC and then back to the angular page, it printed fine." |
| 15:35 |
Dyrcona |
This sounds familiar. I think those templates live somewhere under opac/ |

Dyrcona |
OK. I think I see why this need Anubis. It hits /print_template which we're not excluding... |

I'm starting to think it might be simpler to tell nginx, "use anubis here" rather than inputting all of these exceptions. |

FYI, if you've built Evergreen at all today trash all of the node_modules dirs and rebuild just to be on the safe side: https://fasterthanli.me/articles/color-npm-package-compromised |
