I'm surprised auto renewals aren't popular here, migrating a lot of libraries I usually find them very popular |

I usually don't get the whole phrase out "do you want to use autorenewals?" before they say yes |

Rogan: If libraries are unwilling/unable to go fine free, then autorenewals don't really make sense. In our consortium autorenewals were rolled out as an option. Most libraries held off opting into autorenewals until they eliminated fines. |

I think perspective varies. I certainly do work with a lot of fine free libraries but a good number that use fines and do autorenewals too. I think it depends on the role they see fines playing. I have opinions there but my rant on fines aren't library funding is probably pointless. |
