It produced a 274GB dump in 51m36.924s, so it's definitely faster than the compressed dump. |

mantis1: It depends a lot on the branch timing when multiple releases are going on. It would be nice if we could coordinate things so that they happen in order: 3.13, then 3.14, then 3.15, but that almost never happens. |

As for the branch and tarball creation order, it's not that important. It is customary to do it the way that Bmagic indicated above. If someone without rights to push to the main repo is building the tarball, they can always make a working branch and a committter can move it later. |
