wonders what Romance by Paradise coffee actually tastes like |
08:50 |
kmlussier |
Sweet, round-toned aroma with distinct cherryish fruit and aromatic wood notes. Intense and complex in the cup; the cherry tones deepen and sweeten to dessert-wine complexity with complicating suggestions of dark chocolate, herb and flowers. The chocolate carries into a long, dry finish with continued hints of wood and Mediterranean herbs. |

NOBLE coffee suddenly feels dull next to that description. |
08:51 |

In other words, it tastes like coffee. |
08:52 |

Dyrcona: I've never had coffee that tastes like flowers. Or wood. |
08:52 |
Dyrcona |
I guarantee this one doesn't either. |

I would shy away from coffee with 'complicating suggestions.' There are enough of those in a general day without introducing more with the coffee. |

Alas, we may never know. The last review is from 2010, and this specific roast is now longer listed on the Paradise Roasters web site. |

"Connoisseurship" has been demonstrated to be nonsense in numerous studies, mostly with wine. You remove the labels, tell them it some expensive stuff from some exotic place, and most "experts" will lapse melodic over Night Train. |

There are two js functions named isXUL() in the javascript (defined in Open-ILS/web/js/dojo/openils/XUL.js and Open-ILS/web/opac/common/js/opac_utils.js). Does it safe to remove them and their references? |

So, I wrote a naive program to fork around some backend calls and it is failing with Redis as the communication layer. I have not tried it with ejabberd. |
12:43 |
Dyrcona |
I should try the non-forking version with Redis. Maybe the fork is on the issue. |
12:45 |
Dyrcona |
Non-forked version works with Redis. |
12:45 |
Dyrcona |
I'll test tomorrow with ejabberd. I already ran the non-forked version on that vm today, so the forked version won't do anything. |
12:48 |
Dyrcona |
The problem might be where/how I'm doing the fork. |
12:48 |
berick |
gotta connect to osrf after forking regardless of redis/ejabberd |
12:49 |
Dyrcona |
berick++ OK. I forgot/didn't know about that. |
12:49 |
Dyrcona |
That explains the errors I was seeing in syslog. |
12:55 |
Dyrcona |
berick does that include bootstrapping again? |
12:55 |
Dyrcona |
i.e. do I have to bootstrap after a fork? |
12:58 |
Dyrcona |
Hm... Looks like I'll have to initialize it all over again. |
12:58 |
Dyrcona |
Maybe I won't bother with this for now or switch to multisession... |
12:59 |
berick |
the forking perl server does one initial bootstrap, then the children just create a new connection after forking. |
13:24 |
Dyrcona |
Nah. I'm just not getting it right. |
