So, going back to my UPC problem from yesterday... If the goal was to make something work for all standard numbers, this would have been a better xpath expression: /marc:datafield[@tag='024']/marc:subfield[@code='a' or @code='z'] |

Doing the 'or' on all of the documented indicators was kinda dumb, and introduced the bug. |

So, I don't think this bug was noticed until display fields started being used in the OPAC/staff client. |

So, I think what I'm trying to do now could benefit from indexes being added to the field column on metabib.{keyword,identifier}_field_entry tables. Think I'll do that and drop the indexes when I'm done. |

That index for keyword is taking a long time to create.... :) |
10:09 |
Dyrcona |
Yeah, that query is much faster after the indexes are added. |

Logic question. Patron places a hold for pickup at Library A. Item transits from Library B to fill the hold. Patron decideds they would rather pickup the hold at Library C. Item keeps wanting to transit back home to Library B, even if library A cancels the old hold and places a new one. Is there anything library A can do to make the transit to library C happen? |
13:39 |
mmorgan |
jvwoolf: This could be complicated. Who owns the item? Is "holds go home" coming into play? |
13:51 |
mmorgan |
jvwoolf: could also just be a transit that needs cancelling. |

Hi all, does someone has created a report template that contains a full listed copies that are not deleted? I want to list all copies with their titles, barcodes and call number |
15:45 |
jihpringle |
javier_guel: It looks like this report template is close to what you're looking for - https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=evergreen-reports:templates:item#list_of_items_added |
15:47 |
jihpringle |
we have a similar report template (without the Create Date filter) but we actively discourage our medium and large libraries from running the report because of how big the report can be |
15:47 |
jihpringle |
depending on the size of the library collection you may want to add a shelving location filter so you can break up the list into sections |
15:49 |
javier_guel |
jihpringle: excelent, thanks, I will try, our library is not so big so it could help |
