09:44 terranm Looks like there is a bot that commented on this bug - can we block it? (I don't think I have that permission) - https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1865302
09:44 pinesol Launchpad bug 1865302 in Evergreen "Wishlist: make loan rules clear to staff and patrons" [Wishlist,New]
09:56 Dyrcona terranm: When I got the email, I thought it was someone posted on the wrong bug. I have hidden the comment. I don't see anyway to block the user.

11:12 * mmorgan thinks this won't stop at three, bug 1865302
11:12 pinesol Launchpad bug 1865302 in Evergreen "Wishlist: make loan rules clear to staff and patrons" [Wishlist,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1865302
11:14 mmorgan Looks like folks request blocking users and spam removal by asking a question here: https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/
11:15 * mmorgan is happy to do that
11:22 Dyrcona I've hidden the other two comments.

12:12 jvwoolf One of our libraries wants the New User Created Welcome Notice to send 3 days after the account is created. We have the processing delay set to 3 days, but the notices are still generating on the same day. Is that because of the NOOP_True validator or something else I'm missing?
12:23 mmorgan jvwoolf: Do you have a Max Event Validity Delay set?
12:24 jvwoolf mmorgan: We do, but I noticed it was also 3 days. I changed it to 6 days.
13:21 jeffdavis Is anyone else running into bug 1940698 ? It happens fairly regularly for us.
13:21 pinesol Launchpad bug 1940698 in Evergreen "Duplicate open-ils.search.z3950.search_class calls lead to drone exhaustion" [Undecided,New] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1940698
13:32 mmorgan jvwoolf: How long have you been running the trigger with delay 3 days and max delay 6 days?
13:33 jvwoolf mmorgan: Only a few hours, I just fixed the max delay today
13:35 jvwoolf jeffdavis: We still have drone exhuastion issues, but I can't say we've seen this one in particular come up. Ours mostly seem to be related to buckets so far.
13:36 mmorgan jvwoolf: So events created after you updated max delay to 6 days still ran?
13:37 jvwoolf mmorgan: I haven't gotten a chance to check yet, I'll do that now
13:42 terranm Final bug squash week #s: https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=dev:bug_squashing:2022-04
13:42 jvwoolf mmorgan, well, wouldn't you know, the library hasn't registered any new patrons today
13:43 mmorgan Doesn't that figure :)
14:05 mantis For geo-proximity, is there a specific GIS API we should use?
14:05 mantis I'm looking at Mapbox but unsure if their API is what Evergreen needs
14:12 mantis Does anyone know what 'Free' means in this under Service Code?  https://docs.evergreen-ils.org/eg/docs/latest/admin_initial_setup/geosort_admin.html
14:16 terranm I use the Google Maps API, and I think OSM is OpenStreetMap. I'm not sure about Free.
15:11 collum https://metacpan.org/pod/Geo::Coder::Free
15:11 collum A couple of the data sources are listed under Methods
15:29 mantis collum++
15:30 mantis collum: If we go with this link would we still need an API key?
15:32 collum I really haven't played with it, but it doesn't look like it.
15:36 collum I'm going to defer to someone else, until I experiment.  :-)
15:43 JBoyer collum, mantis, That one uses the free MaxMind GeoIP databases, which are becoming increasingly difficult to download for free (and has to be put in place on all app servers to use). I'm not certain if that's fully explained in the release notes or the page collum linked, or elsewhere.
15:43 JBoyer Shoot.
15:44 collum JBoyer++
15:45 JBoyer @later tell mantis The Geo::Coder::Free geosort option doesn't require an API key but does use a downloadable database to provide (very rough) geolocation. There's barely more to see in the logs for 4/11 around 3:45.
15:45 pinesol JBoyer: The operation succeeded.
