is seeing some Launchpad weirdness. |
10:39 |
mmorgan |
If I do an Advanced Search, and check off Target milestone Evergreen 3.6.5, I get no results. |
10:40 |
mmorgan |
If I check off Evergreen 3.7.2, I do get results. |
10:47 |
jeff |
not sure if it's a change in behavior, but it seems that i do get results when I start at the 3.6 branch and THEN do an advanced search: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/3.6 |

Launchpad bug 3 in mono (Ubuntu) "Custom information for each translation team" [Undecided,Fix committed] |
10:50 |
jeff |
https://launchpad.net/evergreen/+milestone/3.6.5 also shows all bugs targeted at that milestone, but that doesn't provide any options for further searching/filtering. |
10:55 |
mmorgan |
jeff: Yes, I see all the targeted bugs when I look at 3.6.5. |
10:57 |
mmorgan |
I often use Advanced Search to search by target, and have never see no results for a legit target. I can't understand why the 3.7.2 target would get results, but not 3.6.5. |

If it's worked before, I wonder if some recent change to LaunchPad has made it only return results for milestones on the "master" series. |

Hack-A-Way coming up online this Mon.! Still time to register and join if'n folks were so inclined. |
14:16 |
Keith-isl |
Actually I think you could probably register the day(s) of and still be fine |
14:17 |
Keith-isl |
Wiki page is up here if you want to add yourself as an attendee: https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=hack-a-way:hack-a-way-2021 |
14:17 |
Keith-isl |
And if you would like to carve out a block of time for a session, just let myself or rhamby know and we will make it so. :) |
14:18 |
rhamby |
yep |
14:18 |
rhamby |
feel free to register at the last second, mild mocking may occur but that just makes it feel more like we're actually together |
14:29 |
Keith-isl |
That gives me an idea: mock-free tickets only available to the first dozen registrants. |
14:30 |
Keith-isl |
After that, it's fair game. :) |
14:30 |
rhamby |
We could do that. Shut off tickets at the start and convert them to "you must accept some mockery for this ticket" tickets. |
14:39 |
berick |
should there be something on Hopin to "register"? I only see the Join Event button, which drops me into the event |
14:40 |
jeff |
you're all set, then. |
14:40 |
jeff |
it's confusing, though. |
14:41 |
jeff |
you can also verify by consulting https://hopin.com/account/events?type=upcoming |
14:41 |
jeff |
I'm pretty sure that the "You’re in! Access the event 5 minutes before it starts." message is not shown unless you've registered. |
14:43 |
* mmorgan |
saw the same thing as berick. |
14:43 |
Keith-isl |
berick jeff speaks truth. There is no fee and no registration for the event, so all you need to do is create an account through Hopin |
14:43 |
mmorgan |
Figured I was all set, but never really registered. |
14:43 |
Keith-isl |
Actually, am I lying |
14:43 |
Keith-isl |
I might be lying |
14:44 |
Keith-isl |
Nope, no lies |
14:44 |
* jeff |
finds another hopin bug |
14:44 |
Keith-isl |
At least not this time |
14:45 |
jeff |
select lightning bolt in chat interface ("instant commands"), then delete the contents of the text input field (it will have been populated with a forward slash). poof, now you can no longer dismiss the "instant commands" menu/popup. |
14:45 |
Keith-isl |
I see berick jeff and mmorgan all listed as registrants |
14:46 |
jeff |
(you can finagle it with some input and tabbing, or reload the page) |
14:48 |
mmorgan |
Apparently, Hopin knows who you are, click Join, seamless registration :) |
14:48 |
* rfrasur |
earned a mock-free ticket. |
14:48 |
Dyrcona |
I hit the link to go to the event on Hopin earlier this week, and it looked like I was all set. I didn't see anything about registering. |
14:48 |
* rfrasur |
apparently can't mock anyone...so...you're welcome? |
14:48 |
Keith-isl |
Yep, if it drops you into the event, you're good |
14:49 |
Keith-isl |
Though I make no assertions regarding Lawful, Neutral, or Chaotic good |
14:49 |
Dyrcona |
:) |
14:49 |
Dyrcona |
I always get True Neutral when I take those quizzes. |
14:49 |
* rfrasur |
has some assertions to make about that. |
14:50 |
rfrasur |
Dyrcona, somehow I think one of those quizzes should be part of conference registration. |
14:50 |
Keith-isl |
Dyrcona is a Druid, confirmed |
15:29 |
rhamby |
I usually either get lawful neutral or chaotic good |
