got a funny email in Portuguese, with attachments, about a financial transaction over the weekend. |

Sorry, no attachments, just links... |

Doesn't look like csharp actually sent it. ;) |

georgialibraries.org is on gmail now, so I'm assuming spoofing |
09:20 |
Dyrcona |
csharp: Sure. It looks like a simple spoof job, though. |

yeah - it landed in spam |

Hello all, I am setting the "default printer and print a test page" for Label. Anyone else get a dos window launching notepad? |

neat. iNCIPit appears to have managed to log out before making its final OpenSRF request for this NCIP message. |
13:21 |
jeff |
unintentionally async. |
13:21 |
jeff |
weird, and i'm not sure how i did that. |
13:22 |
jeff |
all AppSession calls I can see use ->gather(1), so I don't think those are throwing me for a loop. |
13:29 |
Dyrcona |
Login just timed out? |

Dyrcona: explicit open-ils.auth.session.delete |
13:36 |
Dyrcona |
Oh, well then.... |
13:36 |
jeff |
Dyrcona: otherwise i'd chalk it up to "unfortunate memcached eviction" or something |
13:36 |
jeff |
yeah. |
13:37 |
jeff |
main loop logs in and calls accept_item() for this NCIP message type, then calls logout() |
13:37 |
jeff |
https://github.com/iNCIPit/iNCIPit/blob/master/iNCIPit.cgi#L185 |
13:38 |
jeff |
accept_item calls a few things including find_hold_on_copy: https://github.com/iNCIPit/iNCIPit/blob/master/iNCIPit.cgi#L1749 |
13:39 |
jeff |
in logs, I see everything looking okay until i get an open-ils.auth.session.delete followed by a open-ils.circ.hold.details.retrieve |
13:39 |
jeff |
the open-ils.auth.session.delete is unexpected. |
13:41 |
jeff |
i get the expected open-ils.search.bib_id.by_barcode, then open-ils.circ.holds.retrieve_all_from_title, but then the open-ils.circ.hold.details.retrieve call fails because there's a open-ils.auth.session.delete call before it. |

logout() is the only thing that calls open-ils.auth.session.delete, and there's only one place where logout() is called. |
13:46 |
jeff |
and this of course is not happening 100% of the time. |
13:48 |
JBoyer |
jeff, out of curiosity, what message was it trying to handle at the time? |
13:49 |
jeff |
an AcceptItem message. |
13:50 |
JBoyer |
Oh, right, you did say that earlier. Oops. |
13:50 |
jeff |
the resulting iNCIPit log entry was that generated by the call to fail( "accept_item: no hold found for visid " . $visid ); |
13:50 |
JBoyer |
Anyway, to short circuit this a little, can accept_item ever return something falsy? |
13:51 |
jeff |
well, in this case accept_item called fail() which calls a die; |
13:53 |
JBoyer |
My thinking was that the deeply nested trinary sort-of-switch might be confusing things, but I guess that doesn't make sense, because it wouldn't be trying to check a circ after failing something else. Oh well. :-/ |
13:59 |
jeff |
i wonder... |
14:00 |
JBoyer |
check_session_time? |
14:02 |
JBoyer |
Looks like no. I wonder if your wonderings wander in the right direction. |
14:26 |
jeff |
yeah, I think I've got it. verifying. |

16:46 |

There's a bug in open-ils.actor.container.item.create so that it doesn't actually work with an array ref of bucket items. |
16:46 |
Dyrcona |
Maybe I'll Launchpad that.. |
