Hi, is it possible to create additional OPAC skins/themes and call them by URL parameters, e.g. ?skin=oranges or theme=oranges in EG 2.4? |
| 03:37 |
_An |
I would like our two different libraries to have their own logos and colors |
| 03:40 |
_An |
I know I can specify the library ID in the URL like this: www.myopac.com/home?locg=104; |
| 03:50 |
_An |
I have already copied contents of /openils/var/web/opac/skin/default dir to a new dir called oranges, but how do I call it from URL? |
| 03:51 |
_An |
www.myopac.com/home?skin=oranges; does not seem to work :) |

@later tell _An Sounds like you're still using the older JSPAC from earlier versions of Evergreen. If you change the resulting URL from hostname/opac/skin/default/home to oranges that ought to do the trick. |

bshum: The operation succeeded. |

Also, try to upgrade to newer (and supported) Evergreen versions. With the new TPAC :) |

don't forget a locale. :-) |
| 12:03 |
jeff |
thuogh i'm happy to say that i've forgotten what happens when you omit it. |

(for jspac urls) |

a possible future tpac feature: argument that does not populate the search input box wth the contents of the current search. |
| 12:07 |
jeff |
would reset on a manual search. |
| 12:07 |
jeff |
could be used for things like linking to a search for a handful of ISBNs |
| 12:08 |
jeff |
though in some cases "linking to a search of a handful of isbns" would be better as "metarecord and/or oisbn support in tpac" or "link to a booklist" |
| 12:08 |
jeff |
also, please ignore that i just called it a "booklist", since i don't want to introduce Yet Another Term For That Thing. |

Oh right. |

en-US or similar |

It's been so long |

is looking forward to 2.5.1 |

jeff: It seems like a fun point in time. |
| 12:21 |
jeff |
that was a snide/gloating "we're on master" remark, wasn't it. |
| 12:21 |
jeff |
:-) |
| 12:21 |
bshum |
If that were true, I would have said the future 2.5.2 release would be even better ;) |
| 13:12 |

Weird... 0824 is giving me unhappy errors like: |
| 13:12 |
bshum |
ERROR: function oils_i18n_gettext(unknown, unknown, unknown, unknown) does not exist |
| 13:13 |
bshum |
I wonder why that function is missing or not working |
| 13:13 |
bshum |
Maybe a path problem |
| 13:22 |
bshum |
Yep, search_path woes, again |
