well drat. i have opac templates that are escaping the oils:// wrapper |
13:41 |
tsbere |
sounds annoying |
13:41 |
jeff |
yeah. i think i've got the bit i need. |
13:42 |
jeff |
also annoying, mixed content warning. |
13:42 |
jeff |
i suspect that's something being explicitly included as https in a page that's being loaded in the wrapper. |
13:51 |
jeff |
porting the changes to the mkurl macro in Open-ILS/src/templates/opac/parts/header.tt2 from commit adee850 was sufficient to avoid escaping the oils:// wrapper |

jeff: I think some of my stuff was 100% "stop using full URLs when absolute path ones work just as well", so yea |
13:56 |
tsbere |
Because otherwise keeping "use this protocol or that one, and what was the host again?" type stuff straight was a PITA |
13:59 |
jeff |
and the mixed content warning was indeed an https:// script (piwik) |

jeff: could replace it with //host/ if you need it for both ssl and not |
14:36 |
jeff |
eby: usually that helps, and piwik by default uses javascript to document.write the correct protocol, but in this case the issue is that a page loaded in the staff client as protocol oils:// trips mixed content when loading something as https:// |
14:37 |
jeff |
i'm leaving it as a later exercise to determine if an oils:// page can include a script from a third party host -- probably yes, with some trickiness. |
14:38 |
jeff |
but i think the // trick will fail in this circumstance for me. |

oh my. i can only imagine the events that led up to bug 1263758. 100 years of overdue fines? :-) |

That's awesome. |

But at least it'll probably stop at the maxfines. |

jcamins: actually no, I haven't looked at AUTOCAT today |
15:53 |
jcamins |
gmcharlt: oh, the preview that gmail shows on one of the e-mail messages I didn't read was something along the lines of "How did you become a librarian? Funded local library through fines..." |
15:53 |
jeff |
i had also not read autocat today, and blame jcamins for prompting me to break that streak. |
15:55 |
jcamins |
jeff: I wouldn't have read AUTOCAT today, except that gmail shows me a preview, and with that list, a single sentence counts as "reading." |
