Whee! Everything on a Redis test vm died over the weekend. It's behind a firewall so it is definitely not bots. |

And it rebooted this morning.... I guess I should also double check the host's unattended-updates settings. |

Looks like maybe a power thing since another machine in the same rack rebooted at about the same time, and both have reboot for unattended upgrades turned off. |

so, not redis's fault? |

Dyrcona |
bmagic: Probably not. |

Grr. I'm updating an org_unit setting in the datbase, restarting all services, doing Empty Cache and Hard Reload, and Angular circ reports an error with the old value still. |

memcached and apache are two other possibilities, but I've no idea which might apply (or not) to your specific situation :-) |

and I don't recall offhand if any OU settings are effectively cached in memcached. I know we have some of our stat cats cached there... |

Logging out and logging back in seemed to fix it. It doesn't give me errors with the regexp any more, but the save button still fails to activate when I change an address line. |
| 16:18 |
Dyrcona |
IDK, maybe I'm doing it wrong. Do I have to delete the existing address first? |
| 16:19 |
Dyrcona |
Guess not. The Save button still doesn't activate, and all of the required fields are filled int. |
| 16:22 |
Dyrcona |
Oh well. Not gonna fix it today. |

goood |
@later tell Dyrcona ah, there is an in-browser cache of YAOUSen, IIRC. I believe it's forcibly flushed at login, and some settings are only looked up at login, not on-demand. |

goood: The operation succeeded. |

has anyone wrestled with the whole (cell carriers no longer allow email-sms-gateway) question? Removing those options from Evergreen seems prudent. As a hack, one of our libraries edited the patron OPAC my preferences tt2 in order to remove those, but the database still enforces non-null values for carrier on action.hold_request |

I'm wondering if email-sms-gateway feature just needs to be deleted, and perhaps Flowroute branch get dusted off and merged? bug 1667080 |

EG-IN uses Unique's MessageBee platform as a replacement, but still having to have a default carrier assigned can be confusing for patrons or staff at times. |

We deactivated SMS notifications in January. |
