wonders if it is a wise idea to daisy chain one USB hub off another. It will probably work, but .... |

I know there's a bug somewhere about this, but of course I can't find it. Certain staff interfaces (in AngularJS) have a background textbox color that indicates that the box is greyed out. Even though it's not, and is perfectly functional. Do you know what I'm talking about? |

But I'll leave this here for ya: As you predicted or at least eluded to: I can't accomplish my goal without a newer version of php because I need the php-zip extension, which isn't secure anymore for php 7.4. |

So, I'm interested in upgrading the server with you or whatever is best. Perhaps I could play with a new server via exporting files, but that seems pointless unless the hosting was going to change. |

I can't figure out why Lp 2037674 affects 3.15 and not 3.16. I don't see any differences between those releases that should affect the sort, and I have confirmed with the Chrome debugger that the parts are sorted correctly before they go into the combobox component. |

Launchpad bug 2037674 in Evergreen "Parts combobox sorting - Angular Holdings Editor / volcopy editor" [Undecided,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/2037674 - Assigned to Jason Stephenson (jstephenson) |

I suppose I need to spend more time in the debugger and see what happens as the combobox is filled. |
| 11:34 |
Bmagic |
combobox is tricky to say the least |
| 11:34 |

I'm inclined to blame the dedupe function, but I don't really see how it would rearrange the parts entries. |

I need more practice with the Chrome debugger anyway. S'pose I could try Firefox, too. |

is it possible that evergreen-ils.org is blocking IPs (for bot mitigation) and if so who should I be talking to? my coworker and I can't reach it today hough two others can - we're all in different towns and the two of us who can't reach it have different ISPs |
| 12:50 |
jihpringle |
I get "The connection has timed out" |
| 12:53 |

jeff: ping ^-- |

I think something's up with the evergreen-ils.org server. I'm not able to ssh to it at the moment. |
| 12:56 |
berick |
i can ssh to lupin OK |
| 12:57 |
Dyrcona |
My ssh timed out as did Chrome. |
| 12:58 |

glad to hear it's not just us :) |
| 12:59 |

berick: What's the load on lupin? |
| 13:00 |

Dyrcona: minimal; load average: 0.10, 0.12, 0.09 |

I wonder if Georgia's ITS implemented something in the firewall without warning. |
| 13:01 |
Dyrcona |
Don't know if csharp_ is doing anything. |
| 13:06 |
Dyrcona |
Yeah, all of my attempts to reach the server timeout regardless of protocol or port. |
| 13:11 |
Dyrcona |
Heh. Guess the server needs a time out. :) |
| 13:18 |
Dyrcona |
I could try routing it over my VPN to see if that makes a difference. |
| 13:22 |
Dyrcona |
It does make a difference, so I suspect ITS has done something. |
| 13:23 |

Looks like my home ISP is blocked, but not the work iSP. |

there are currently 21,095 iptables DROP rules on there |
| 13:32 |

Well I think there need to be fewer than that. :) |

lol, yeah, probably |

our robots.txt on that server was basically blank - just added what I thought was already there via WP robots.txt editor |
| 14:14 |
csharp_ |
most of the current traffic appears to be legit crawlers and that should calm when they start caring about the changed robots.txt |
| 14:39 |
jeff |
sorry, hi. scrolling up. |
| 14:40 |
jeff |
I'm happy to remove blocks if you can message me a problematic IP address. Once out of this meeting, I'll have a chance to talk with csharp_ about the blocks in general. :-) |
| 14:41 |
jeff |
oh, never mind, looks like csharp_ may have removed everything, so those affected are likely no longer affected! :-) |

I assume that "evergreen-ils" in the blue cartouche indicates that those repositories have that topic applied. I'll consider that for my repositories. |

jeff: yeah, I just cleared out the rules - doing some blocking based on obvious bots |
