08:29 Dyrcona Great. Something that failed when run via `at` at 21:00 last night runs just fine when I do it manually now.
08:30 Dyrcona It failed with no error message in a log file. It was supposed to log stderr to a file.

08:40 Dyrcona Ugh. Thought I was going to find something in journalctl, but the only entries are me using sudo to grep the logs for the marc_export command.
08:40 Dyrcona That and journalctl with the _COMM=/openils/bin/marc_export option.
08:50 Dyrcona One million seven hundred seventy-eight thousand three hundred twenty-two records.
08:54 JBoyer Maybe a PATH thing? I've run into that occasionally.
09:01 Dyrcona JBoyer: I don't think so, the script calls it as /openils/bin/marc_export
09:02 Dyrcona I'm running each step manually with pretty much the same environment as cron/at.
09:03 Dyrcona I did find one thing that I'll change to make thing easier for the recipient. I'm going to use -j with zip to junk the directories on the compressed filename.
09:05 Dyrcona It did fail when run on 7/1 because of permissions issues, so I changed where it puts the output and scheduled it with at last night.
09:07 Dyrcona It might have not had permission to write the error log. I can change where that goes, too. I think it was an oversight to put it in the "WORKDIR." Think I'll set a LOGDIR variable.
09:08 Dyrcona Anyway, I'm uploading the zipped file and it seems to be working.

09:22 Dyrcona Oh! I was also testing that checkin program that had issues with 3.15 on 3.7 again this morning, and it works. I'll have to check AssetCommon for a potential bug on 3.15.
09:53 csharp_ bleh... looks like I didn't set up letsencrypt to autorenew

10:10 Dyrcona Yeahp. Trying to delete one of these copies on 3.15.2 blows up with Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /usr/local/share/perl/5.34.0/OpenILS/Application/Cat/AssetCommon.pm line 503
10:11 Dyrcona Guess I'll see what's going on there.
10:12 Dyrcona No differences in AssetCommon.pm in my local branch and rel_3_15.
10:14 Dyrcona Right. That should not be an error: if (scalar @$parts)....
10:14 Dyrcona Ah ha!
10:14 Dyrcona It needs to be if ($parts && @$parts) # with or without the scalar keyword.
10:15 Dyrcona Now, to see why $parts is undefined and not an empty array ref.
10:16 Dyrcona my $parts = $copy->parts; # OK. parts can be undef....
10:17 Dyrcona Anyone running 3.15 in production and had trouble deleting copies?
10:19 * Dyrcona wishes we used mergres, then git branch --contains would actually work.
10:25 Dyrcona Looks like it's only in rel_3_15 and main.

15:41 mmorgan Anyone on 3.15 that can check the patron search screen in the client? The org unit selector for the Home Library isn't opening on my test system. I suspect it's me, but it would be nice if someone could confirm that it works on 3.15. My test system is 3.15.2.
15:49 Dyrcona mmorgan: It's working on my test system. Did you run autogen.sh?
15:51 Dyrcona Working on both of my 3.15 test systems actually.
15:51 mmorgan Dyrcona: Good to hear that! I didn't run autogen. It's a docker container just built.
15:52 Dyrcona Do you see org units elsewhere?
15:54 Dyrcona I'm signing out in a few minutes.
15:54 mmorgan Yes, org units show elsewhere.
15:57 Dyrcona Dunno then.
15:58 mmorgan Thanks for looking!

17:15 Lorne Hello everyone, what is the new process to enable RFID in Evergreen? This doc seems to be deprecated: https://docs.evergreen-ils.org/docs/3.8/integrations/rfid.html
17:49 Lorne joined #evergreen
18:18 jeff Lorne: a lot of it comes down to what kind of RFID hardware and software you have. For staff workstations, a software wedge that transmits keystrokes to the active application when an item is placed on the RFID antenna is common.
18:19 jeff Lorne: the PV Supa Goodstuff integration was specific to a single vendor.
18:20 jeff Lorne: are you working with a particular RFID product or vendor?

18:49 Lorne Hello @jeff, I am building my own self-check hardware terminal. It uses a PN5180 RFID reader which supports ISO 15693 standard & 13.56 MHz High frequency distance
