Is there a way to implement the older reporter in 3.13? I'm unsure if it's a service to enable in the config files or not |
12:24 |
redavis |
I believe there's a "legacy" link. Not sure how to implement it though. Seems like an org was doing that. I want to say PaILS, but don't quote me on it. |
12:25 |
redavis |
Hmm, or it was a path. I'll see if I can track it down |

Oh, yeah, so it looks like if you just change the link to change up to eg from eg2/en-US |

Anyone else tried pingest.pl on 3.14? I'm getting this error: DBD::Pg::st execute failed: ERROR: function metabib.compile_composite_attr(integer) does not exist |
12:41 |
Dyrcona |
At least on 1 system. I'll try another. |
12:45 |
Dyrcona |
huh. It's in main. |
12:46 |
Dyrcona |
It's in my custom 3.14 branch, too. |
12:47 |
Dyrcona |
It's not in my database.... |

recreating the functions is easy enough, but I wonder a) why they're missing and the functions that use them are not and b) if any other db functions are missing. |
13:03 |
Dyrcona |
pingest seems to be happy now. |
13:05 |
Dyrcona |
I suppose that I could script something to look for missing functions... |
13:09 |
Dyrcona |
Oh.... One of them is plperl function... I wonder.... I bet all of the plperl functions are missing. |
13:09 |
* Dyrcona |
ponders a way to extract all of the plperl functions from the code.... |
13:11 |
* Dyrcona |
doesn't think it will be quick or easy. It's gonna require some code or just brute force searching the SQL. |

perl-- # I've found better company. |
13:18 |
Dyrcona |
Well, it's not just plperl functions. The first two that I've checked are there. |
13:19 |
Dyrcona |
So, maybe I'll just script something to check for all of the functions. |
13:32 |
Dyrcona |
Hmm... Was gonna grep and sed to a SQL file, but maybe I'll write it in Perl with DBI and write out a log of missing functions if any.... |
13:36 |
Dyrcona |
I should figure out how to include the argument for overloaded functions |
