16:32	Dyrcona	Having said that about empty strings, that isn't my problem. In fact, my code doesn't have a problem. Looks like the issue is on the other end, and the data subfields may contain too much data.

16:58	Dyrcona	So, a ticket update by a local staff member gives me a clue to what is going on. When there has been activity that affects a record, a call number, or a copy, we export a list of changed record ids to Aspen every 10 minutes. Aspen comes back and grabs the record data via SuperCat or something like that.
16:59	Dyrcona	SuperCat and marc_export do not agree on what copy data should look like. I thin we need 1 record export to rule them all in the form of a library on the backend, and then all of the exports will use the same code.
