My thoughts re: karaoke: hard pass, happy to enjoy folks enjoying themselves. My thoughts on abneiman helping berick bring that pun across the finish line: https://youtu.be/6Fdpuhib4Dc?t=48 |

I'm willing to sing along with Sabotage as I enjoy later Beastie Boys (less said about the early days of their career the better) |

You should watch Beastie Boys Story. It's really good and they pretty much agree with you. |

Good morning. So I am about 99.5% of the way to having a working installation (3.10.1). Everything is working smoothly except the web UI. This is the error I'm getting in the apache logs: https://gist.github.com/jblyberg/eab50f59d974360d54a6850d35954e35 .. Any help appreciated |

jblyberg: Never seen that before. You're probably missing some other package. Try this to see if it can provide any more information `perl -c /usr/local/share/perl/5.34.0/OpenILS/WWW/EGWeb.pm` |
09:54 |
jblyberg |
Dyrcona: seems to work fine: `/usr/local/share/perl/5.34.0/OpenILS/WWW/EGWeb.pm syntax OK` |
09:54 |
Dyrcona |
Well, I'd expect to get the same error at least.... |
09:55 |
Dyrcona |
That could mean something is wrong the Apache environment. Double check your Apache set up versus the README. |
09:57 |
jblyberg |
I think it might have something to do with this line in EGWeb.pm: my $loader = $r->dir_config('OILSWebContextLoader'); |
09:57 |
berick |
try the same perl -c but with EGCatLoader.pm |
09:58 |
jblyberg |
a ha: "Can't locate Business/Stripe.pm" |

still getting error 500 but no errors in the log, this warning though: "egweb: template error: plugin error - POSIX: plugin not found" |

jblyberg: Did you install the prerequisites before you installed Evergreen? |
10:14 |
jblyberg |
I did |
10:15 |
Dyrcona |
Well, it looks like you need to do it again. What Linux distribution are you running and what command did you use to install the prerequisites? |
10:16 |
jblyberg |
ubuntu jammy |
10:17 |
jblyberg |
https://docs.evergreen-ils.org/eg/docs/latest/installation/server_installation.html#_installing_prerequisites |
10:17 |
jblyberg |
opensrf seems to be working fine |
10:17 |
Dyrcona |
Did you install from the tarball or from a git clone? |
10:18 |
jblyberg |
opensrf from git and eg from the tarball |
10:21 |
Dyrcona |
In the parent directory of wherever you extracted the tarball, run this `sudo make -f Evergreen-ILS-3.10.1/Open-ILS/src/extras/Makefile.install ubuntu-jammy` |
10:22 |
Dyrcona |
Make sure you let it configure CPAN. |
10:27 |
jblyberg |
That did the trick, thank you! Either I missed that step or it didn't run correctly when I initially ran it. Thank you for your help! |

greetings, leaving aside the very important questions of karaoke for now, I just want to call attention to this list: https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=faqs:evergreen_roadmap:3.11 |

slush is next week (in theory) and there's lots of stuff pending review here! I'm happy to answer any questions about any of Equinox's work on this list |

Next week? |

abneiman |
that's what the schedule says: https://wiki.evergreen-ils.org/doku.php?id=faqs:evergreen_roadmap |

(yes, I am also shocked that April is this weekend) |
14:46 |
JBoyer |
I had initially based that roadmap (very) loosely on past schedules and moved things around to fit the conference and May bug squashing week. Looking at it now (especially with the progress that has or hasn't been made) a month between feature freeze and release candidate looks pretty extremely not ideal. |
14:47 |
JBoyer |
I'll probably be polling the release team and other committers soone to see if there are some schedule adjustments that will help get more features and fixes added in time for 3.11. |
14:54 |
Dyrcona |
Well it certainly gives time for testing. |
14:55 |
Dyrcona |
Maybe pull the release candidate forward for a longer testing window, rather than move the feature freeze? |
