So currently Evergreen Indiana is having issues with covert art from ContentCafe showing up. Would it be feasible to temporarily switch to OpenLibrary until we can verify that ContentCafe is working properly again? If so, is there anything we'd need to do (other than restarting opensrf/apache) to initiate the change? |

We upgraded from 3.7.1 to 3.9.1 over the weekend, so our OPAC carousels are showing blank images at the moment. |

Baker & Taylor is down due to "an internal network incident and out of an abundance of caution brought our customer facing systems down", apparently including Content Cafe (though that seems to be a recent increase in scope of their outage) |

In terms of changing to OpenLibrary, I think you'd want to change your Added Content settings in opensrf.xml (which would involve restarting open-ils.settings), and there are probably some Perl vars in the Apache config. |
14:16 |
jeff |
oh, they're actually environment variables (set with SetEnv), not Perl vars. |

Depending on the nature of the failure, your AC lookups might be disabled (ac.no_lookup might be set in memcache). That times out after 10 minutes by default, or you could remove the key manually. |

Thanks! |

jmurray-isl, I just did the same thing before seeing your message. Switching to Openlibrary seems to have worked for us. |

Would commenting out all <module> entry in the added content sections of opensrf.xml be the way to disable added content completely? |

ok, doing some research on the Geo::Coder::Google CPAN dependency - I see from https://metacpan.org/pod/Geo::Coder::Google that everything defaults to API v3 |
16:17 |
csharp_ |
and Ubuntu has a package for libgeo-coder-googlev3-perl - is there a reason not to just use the package in the repo? |
16:20 |
csharp_ |
ok, I guess part of the problem is that the name of the module is literally Geo/Coder/Googlev3.pm ? |
16:23 |
csharp_ |
no, in fact they are two different libraries |

stupid CPAN |

Why "stupid CPAN?" It's usually the distribution packagers that mess things up. |

BTW, csharp_, I started looking at your Quipu eCard renewal branch today. I'm going to try and merge what makes sense into the generic integration branch as well as CWMARS local branch. |

Dyrcona: cool - and props to terranm who has done the lion's share this go round :-) |

Yeah terranm++ I noticed that. I stopped looking when I hit a commit with major conflicts. I'll have to look at it more closely, i.e. not after 4:00 PM. :) |

isn't there a list of conference proposal requests, suggestions, etc. somewhere? |

Stompro: for your hold shelf timeout, are you able to dig out the underlying SQL query from your Postgres logs and re-run it with EXPLAIN ? |

looks at the clock, decides to put that request in the Launchpad bug instead of IRC |
