Do the hold_transit.start or transit.start hook ever get asserted? I am having trouble finding where this happens. |

Happy Bug Squashing Day 2! I have added a new official tag for "angular-circ" to corral that big ole project. |

stephengwills: it doesn't look like anything attempts to use those hooks. for the room, grepping for create_events_for_hook or open-ils.trigger.event.autocreate will show how to wire them up once the right spots are found |

stephengwills: ah thanks miker! He's asking about action trigger stuff. I was confused |

Hi all! I tried to ping csharp_, but he doesn't seem to be around and I need to log off soon, so I'll ask my question here. I signed up for some evergreen-ils mailing lists over the weekend, but my subscription requests must be sitting in some kind of moderation queue. I was hoping somebody could look into it. |
11:38 |

Hi Kathy! Chris is out sick. I'm not sure who else has access to the mailing lists now. |
11:39 |
kmlussier |
terranm: OK, there's no rush on it. I just wanted to ask before they got lost in the shuffle. |

I used to have access, but none of the passwords I had before are working now :/ |

miker: gmcharlt: mmorgan and I are putting together the 3.10 beta. Which bzr translation branch should we use? |

Okay, another release question (Dyrcona and Bmagic, perhaps): is there anybody around with lupin access who could upload the 3.10 beta? |
13:03 |
sandbergja |
(also, how big do those files get? Are they small enough that we could email them to somebody with lupin access?) |
13:04 |
sandbergja |
we could also google drive them |

jeff, not necessarily. I started down a path "Maybe we could..." but I don't have time to implement anything and doubted I had started would actually help move toward a conclusion. |
13:51 |
JBoyer |
So, question away. |
13:53 |
jeff |
dear stock Zabbix templates: maybe you could hold off on your trigger for "Windows service not running" when the service type is "automatic delayed start" and the system uptime is > 1 minute? :-P |

Always appreciate the opportunity to create negative false positives and positive false negatives. |

The hold has a NULL requestor? |
16:59 |
abowling |
Dyrcona: so far as OpenSRF is concerned, seemingly |
16:59 |
terranm |
Did the requestor get purged? |
17:00 |
abowling |
but the db doesn't seem to show any null fields in actor.hold_request in the requestor field |
17:01 |
abowling |
terranm: not so much that I can tell |
17:02 |
berick |
$e->requestor is set after $e->checkauth is called. $e being a CStoreEditor. |
17:03 |
berick |
abowling: what line? |
17:04 |
abowling |

you confirmed it's not from: $hold->usr->id ? (same line of code) |

abowling berick: I wonder if the user's session is corrupted, expired, or purged from memcached. |
17:14 |
abowling |
Dyrcona: it's been going on for over a week with multiple logins from multiple machines |
17:15 |
berick |
hm, auth check should fail outright if it can't pull the user data from cache |
17:16 |
berick |
but verifying memcache is not under pressure can't hurt |
17:18 |
Dyrcona |
Looking at CStoreEditor, it looks like a lot of other things would be failing if this was a general problem with the user. |
17:21 |
mmorgan |
abowling: Shot in the dark, could there be a P or M type hold where the P or M no longer exist? |
17:21 |
Dyrcona |
abowling: If you can get a current session hash for this user, you could try doing open-ils.auth.session.retrieve with their token to see what comes back. |

I'd also make sure that hold_request_usr_fkey still exists on action.hold_request. Maybe the usr points to a non-existent actor.usr entry... Assuming line 3748 in master is the same as the line in your installed Evergreen. |
