Fun: ERROR: canceling statement due to conflict with recovery DETAIL: User query might have needed to see row versions that must be removed. |

I suppose that could be normal on a replicant database. |

Random question here: On PG11, when I perform a pg_dump, the resulting dump sets a LOCALE option in the CREATE DATABASE command, but pg_restore seems particularly unhappy with it. Is there a reason why the LOCALE option is even there, when both pg_dump and pg_restore are 11.17? |

So, even though I've removed all previous clusters, adding the --cluster 11/main option to pg_dump appears to fix the issue. |

jmurray-isl: Dunno. I'd have to see your pg_dump and pg_restore command lines. Also, there's a #postgresql channel that might be more helpful. |

Also, Hopin has "crashed" a Chrome tab twice. |

Dyrcona: boo, lame. did anything show up in the PG logs? (and, I assume, this run includes the recent updates) |

miker: I'm not finding anything. |

has anyone had issues with report templates not working post-3.9 upgrade? But only certain ones. Seems to have to do with shelving locations. Same for item templates? |

I swear there was a bug for MARC::Record not calculating record lengths correctly with multibyte sequences. I also swear that was fixed, but I think I'm seeing it. I can't find a bug, however. |

Bmagic: we upgraded to 3.9 in August and we haven't had any reports of template issues |

I think the only existing templates that we re-did for the upgrade were the ones related to patron notes, alerts, blocks |

that makes sense |

I suspect we'd have heard by now if any of the libraries' monthly recurring reports weren't working anymore (at least I hope we'd have heard by now :) ) |

And, ingest_ctl crashed again. |

Dyrcona: crazy thought re ingest_ctl ... any OOM indications in, say, syslog or dmesg? |

Nope. |

shouldn't be, because we should be just getting small piles (unless you're making a named queue) |

Bug targeting question: If a bugfix is targeted for 3.9.1 and 3.8.2, should it also be targeted for 3.10-beta? Or is the 3.10-beta target just for wishlist/feature patches? |

It should also be targeted at 3.10-beta. |
