I was just having an internal monologue. Should SIP users have a working location? It seems to me that the SIP accounts have permissions at the consortium level and therefore it doesn't need a working location? |

which also means: there isn't a reason to make more than one SIP account? Technically speaking. Obviously you don't want to spread the login/password out to everyone. But as far as Evergreen is concerned, the SIP user can do everything it needs to do for library A and library B and C, D, ... |

and whether you've attached a workstation to the account in the sip config file, otherwise the home library of the sip user will cause ... trouble. (note: some human interfaces will /not/ work correctly without a working location. there's no rule saying that is only ever enforced in the UI, though, so some backend API might break for sip users without a working location, now or in the future) |

Not that you need a working location for this, but we use different SIP accounts tied to User Activity Types for statistical purposes. |
