If adding emails as recipients in action triggers and there are multiple, would the formatting be 'email1', 'email2' or 'email1, email 2'? |
10:42 |
mmorgan |
mantis: So you're hardcoding the email addresses in the trigger template? I've done that a few times, but with only one email, no quotes, and it has worked. |

Multiple addresses should work if separated by commas and formatted correctly: "First Last" <recipienthost.tld> or just the email address. |

Keith-isl |
I wonder - is it inappropriate to bring up Hatch and ask questions about it on a Monday morning? I feel like it may be too early to invoke that name and ruin everyone's week. :) |
10:51 |
jvwoolf1 |
mmorgan, Dyrcona: We were going to use the recipient_email event param instead of hard-coding |
10:56 |

I've got a library that's being looped back to workstation registration continually while Hatch is enabled and can't ever login to get to the splash screen. Usually, uninstalling the Hatch extension / Windows applet and blowing away the browser cache, and then reinstalling Hatch after registering a workstation, seems to work, but not in this case. Trying to figure out where in Windows anything Hatch related gets installed so it can be thoroughly |

Keith-isl |
excised on our next attempt at shooting troubles. |
11:04 |
jvwoolf1 |
Keith-isl: Did you clear cookies in addition to cache? |
11:05 |
Dyrcona |
jvwoolf1 | mantis: It should still work. |
11:11 |
Keith-isl |
jvwoolf1 - I cleared everything in Chrome that could be cleared from the Clear Browsing Data screen since the beginning of time. What's really strange in this situation is that we were also having the issue when we tried with a pristine new installation of Firefox as well when we tried switching browsers. |
11:18 |
mantis |
Keith-isl: long shot but what other extensions are installed on that browswer? |
11:20 |
Keith-isl |
It's a good shot. There were only the stock extensions that come with Chrome, which are, what, Google Docs Offline, I think? And there were no add-ons for Firefox that I recall. |
11:21 |
Keith-isl |
Though I didn't think to double check the Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions folder |
11:30 |
rhamby |
Keith-isl I've heard of that issue with others and heard positive things about clearing caches and cookies though from what I've heard second hand it seems to not always take the first time |
11:34 |
jeff |
Keith-isl: if you were having trouble in both Chrome and Firefox, and especially if it was in Firefox without Hatch installed/enabled, the first thing I would check is local disk space. If you're low, the browser will fail to store things that Evergreen relies upon to be present in local storage. It can cause issues like you describe. |

Where "low storage" is difficult to quantify (and I forget the last time I went looking in browser source code to track it down), you'll hopefully know it when you see it. |

That seems a good thread to tug on. I will throw that at the wall and see if it sticks! |
11:56 |
mmorgan |
Keith-isl: I've also found hatch workstation related stuff in Windows in C:\ProgramData\Hatch\<host> |
11:57 |
Keith-isl |
mmorgan ++ Excellent, I will dig around and pull things out by the root there. Thank you. |

Keith-isl, Another thing you should check out is the version of Hatch installed. As of Eg 3.4 if it's not the newest version, it's the wrong version. |
12:15 |
JBoyer |
The symptoms you mentioned can happen when Eg 3.4+ tries to use the workstation saving feature of Hatch but Hatch is too old to have that feature. |
12:18 |
Keith-isl |
JBoyer++ I will double-check. 0.3.2 from https://evergreen-ils.org/egdownloads/ is the newest version, correct? |
12:19 |
JBoyer |
Yes |

https://docs.evergreen-ils.org/dev/_staff_view_of_address_alerts.html Do these show up in the web client? |

Oh, it can be kinda handy if you have weird service areas/taxing districts. |

Anyone noticed that the "Delete Queue" hyperlink at the top of the Vandelay queue model doesn't work or appear to do anything? |
