is there an existing bug for an enhancement to hide itemless bibs from staff searches unless you're passing an "I'm a cataloger, I want to see empty bibs" option? |

An LDAP server that we use with AuthProxy works just fine on Ubuntu 18.04, but gives "Connection reset by peer" on 20.04. |

jeffdavis: have you confirmed that it isn't a network/firewall issue? can you telnet (or openssl s_client) to the LDAP server on the relevant port from both the Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 hosts? |

I can connect with ldapsearch from the affected servers, just not with Net::LDAP, so I'm pretty sure it's not a whitelisting thing. |

packet capture might be a quick way to examine what you seem to be negotiation between the hosts, even though the end of the conversation may be opaque ("encrypted alert!") |
