csharp: cool! do you have a local patch (that you'd be willing to share) for tpac or boopack that surfaces the link generator code for that? I can't find any use of the safe token code in stock. and, I'd be happy to help generic-ify it to spread the maint burden |

csharp |
sure can - I'll work up a branch |
10:09 |
csharp |
should we bug it? |
10:14 |
Dyrcona |
Yes, you should bug it. |

I guess the answer to that question is usually "yes" :-) |

csharp: awesome, thanks. I'd /really/ like to get more 3rd party vendors to use this for authz instead of asking EG to be a full identity provider (ugh) or "just trust the referrer header". will probably change the hashing from md5 to sha, because rainbow tables, btw, but that should be transparent to GALILEO (it's just a "key" for them) |
10:33 |
csharp |
right - sounds good |

we're way down the road with OpenAthens, though we haven't verified that it actually works yet, hence it not being submitted to stock EG - but yeah, ugh |

that's good to hear that it's coming along |

So, there's a web server written in Common Lisp called, Huchentoot. I just found out today that it is likely named after a never-staged opera written by Frank Zappa. Somehow, that seems exactly right. |

I thought a couple of folks in here would appreciate that. |

The author apparently names many of his Lisp projects with Zappa references. |

And, I'm tempted to buy his books as an early birthday present to myself: http://weitz.de/cl-recipes/ |
