Another fun cron thing to keep in your back pocket in case it ever comes up: if you have any scripts with a #!/bin/sh shebang but uses bash-only features it's gonna bomb eventually as dash replaces bash as /bin/sh on Debian based distros. |

It is best to always specify the shell that you intend to use. You never know what sh actually is when you change distros or OS. |
