miker |
berick: if you have a second, is there already an analog to mkurl() for use in the angular catalog? something that will let me supply some new values for query parameters (and ones to remove) and spit out a value usable in a routerLink attribute, particularly for search url construction? |
12:14 |

re: 1887852 something must still be off in my testing. What I'm testing is that the phone number populates the password field. When the patron self-registers there's no way to enter a phone number. The bug description indicates I should generate a pssword without changing the data in the phone field |
14:29 |
mrisher |
how do I self-register, add a phone number, then go generate a password without changing the phone numbrer? |

14:30 |

jihpringle: That gets me partway there. I enabled show day_phone field. I'm seeing that info isn't used for the password. I'm realizing there are actually 3 phone numbers involved: day, evening, and default. The bug doesn't state which phone number should be used to pre-populate the password |
14:36 |
mrisher |
I can verify it isn't pre-populating the daytime phone number |
14:36 |
mrisher |
but I'm not clear if the bug fix is supposed to fix that issue, since there are 3 phone number fields |

You don't have to have a workstation set up to test the self-reg form because that's in the OPAC |

mmorgan |
Personally, I'm always leery of using CONS as a workstation for any testing. I would say BR1 would be better for testing. |

I actually didn't know you could set up a workstation at CONS level. I guess I'm thoroughly trained to use a branch! |
14:47 |
