So, I am experimenting with Evergreen for the first time (v3.3.0 on Ubuntu 18.04). Creating a test user as a Global Administrator. When that user logs in, they are unable to access "/eg2/staff/admin/server/splash" due to the "eg2" in the URL. If this is substituted with "eg", the page loads. Well, I did skip step 4 that was linked to: "Skip this entire section if you are using an official release tarball". The "eg2" request produces a JS error: "ERROR Error: Uncaught (in promise): User does not have staff permissions". |
