11:19 * Dyrcona puzzles over why better optimizing the database would seemingly cause issues with reshelving complete and possibly the fine generator.
11:25 berick copy editor, "Defaults" tab, if I un-check an item under "Display defaults for Working Item tab" (e.g. Deposit Amount), that field should no longer be visible in the copy editor?
11:29 mmorgan berick: lp 1716473
11:29 pinesol Launchpad bug 1716473 in Evergreen "Proposal for webstaff UI: Hide fields in copy editor, rather than disabling them" [Undecided,Confirmed] https://launchpad.net/bugs/1716473
11:30 berick mmorgan++
11:30 berick perfect, thanks
11:31 * mmorgan owes that bug a comment in support

12:54 Dyrcona Has anyone seen the fine generator just stop adding bills to a transaction for no discernible reason?
12:54 Dyrcona We seem to have a lot of that going on.
13:31 Dyrcona typos--
13:31 Dyrcona @hates
13:31 pinesol Dyrcona hates JavaScript; and Launchpad Search
13:37 Dyrcona So, vaccum analyze on the action.circulation table does not seem to have helped. If I try to use the storage call to generate fines on this transaction, no new fines get added. srfsh times out after 2 minutes.

14:03 Dyrcona open-ils.storage died....
14:10 Dyrcona And, now that it is running again, it seem to not talk to the database, though it looks like it is configured correctly.
14:10 csharp so is open-ils.storage's death the cause of the timeouts? or another symptom?
14:10 csharp ok
14:10 csharp no log errors?
14:14 Dyrcona Caught error from 'run' method: Can't call method "search_where" on an undefined value at /usr/local/share/perl/5.22.1/OpenILS/Application/Storage/Publisher/action.pm line 1014.
14:15 Dyrcona That's all I can find at the moment. I'm gonna clear that log and kick it again.
14:16 Dyrcona cstore is working fine. I see it's queries on the db server.
14:16 Dyrcona configuration looks good. This has only been a problem since last Monday apparently.
14:17 Dyrcona Now, it appears to be working, at least for calculating fines on a single overdue: Received Data: "\t\tAdding fines totaling 40 for overdue up to 2019-02-25T23:59:59-0500\n"
14:21 Dyrcona open-ils.storage.action.circulation.overdue.id_list gives me nothing in 2 minutes, and I never saw its query on the db.
14:22 Dyrcona Oop. There's the query on the db, this time.
14:23 Dyrcona So, open-ils.storage died at some point, probably last week, and I didn't get any notice and I don't see anything in the logs, though I'll make a more thorough check on the syslog server in a bit.
14:23 Dyrcona Just starting over again once didn't seem to work, I had to restart it again after that.
14:26 Dyrcona I typoed the force-clean-process option the first time, though diagnostic said it was running after, anyway.
14:27 csharp the search_where thing rings a bell, but not sure what it's from
14:28 Dyrcona It hasn't shown up since I cleared the log and restarted.
14:29 Dyrcona Of course, all I've tried is fine generator calls.
14:56 Dyrcona csharp: line 1014 of Storage/Publisher/action.pm appears to be a search on booking.reservation and we don't use booking.
14:57 Dyrcona And the fact that the method contains commented out code is bothersome.
15:40 csharp @blame apache2-websockets for all my problems
15:40 pinesol csharp: apache2-websockets stole bradl's tux doll! for all csharp's problems
15:40 csharp fortunately going to upgrade to opensrf 3.1/websocketd on Wednesday

16:04 Dyrcona @blame The stars
16:04 pinesol Dyrcona: The stars typed Google into Google; broke the Internet.

16:56 berick in case anyone else is seeing oddness, I think the latest version of chrome refuses to load sharedworkers via https if it doesn't like the certificate (self-signed certs)
16:57 berick so, test VM's and such w/o a valid cert
16:59 berick end result is browser client pages intermittently fail to fully render
17:00 * berick configures chrome to trust the cert as a test
