So, what did I break this time: |
13:31 |
Dyrcona |
[Sat Sep 09 13:30:28.553786 2017] [perl:error] [pid 19742] [client 192.168.122.1:54026] Apache2::RequestIO::print: (32) Broken pipe at /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl5/5.22/Template.pm line 180, referer: https://xenial/eg/opac/results?query=mozart&qtype=keyword&fi%3Asearch_format=&locg=4&detail_record_view=0 |

And, this VM worked just fine last Saturday and all I did was update to latest master today. |
13:34 |
Dyrcona |
Way too much of this in the logs, too: Use of uninitialized value in scalar assignment at /usr/local/share/perl/5.22.1/OpenSRF/DomainObject/oilsMessage.pm line 246. |
13:34 |
Dyrcona |
And this: CGI::param called in list context from /usr/local/share/perl/5.22.1/OpenILS/WWW/EGCatLoader/Search.pm line 357, this can lead to vulnerabilities. See the warning in "Fetching the value or values of a single named parameter" at /usr/share/perl5/CGI.pm line 405. |

With my CPU running at 65 degrees C, I may not be around much longer. |
13:36 |
Dyrcona |
Search results screen in the web staff client is blank, like the screen shots in that bug I posted last week and made invalid after building a new vm (this one) and it worked after. |
13:37 |
Dyrcona |
Sucks if I have to build a new vm just to upgrade. |
13:37 |
Dyrcona |
Or update a development branch. |
13:45 |
Dyrcona |
And, now, it's just working.... |
13:49 |
Dyrcona |
configure: error: Could not find osrf_config. |
13:49 |
Dyrcona |
Ensure OpenSRF is installed and that the PATH environment variable includes |
13:49 |
Dyrcona |
the OpenSRF executables. For example: PATH=$PATH:/openils/bin ./configure |
13:49 |
Dyrcona |
Makefile:381: recipe for target 'config.status' failed |
13:49 |
Dyrcona |
make: *** [config.status] Error 1 |
13:49 |
Dyrcona |
opensrfxenial:~/Evergreen$ echo $PATH |
13:49 |
Dyrcona |
/home/opensrf/bin:/home/opensrf/.local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games:/snap/bin:/openils/bin |
13:49 |

opensrfxenial:~/Evergreen$ |

Well, my search for keyword mozart is still broken. |
14:15 |
Dyrcona |
So, a 2 core vm with 4GB of RAM is no longer enough to test Evergreen....Just my opinion based on today's frustrations. |
14:19 |
bshum |
Hmmm, crazy |
14:21 |
Dyrcona |
I keyword search for mozart and get a cstore time out in the logs. |
14:21 |
Dyrcona |
harry potter on the other hand comes back almost instantly with the 1 record. |
14:22 |
bshum |
I'll try rebuilding to latest master too |
14:22 |

Right after I finish my sandwich |

A fresh build just worked last week. This was updated today. |
14:23 |
Dyrcona |
I built three times today, with the last after the git clean -x -f -d to eliminate everything. |
14:26 |
Dyrcona |
I'm working on code to place multiple holds for a single title. |
14:26 |
Dyrcona |
Everything works so far except for actually placing the multiple holds. It's still only placing 1. |
14:27 |
Dyrcona |
oops. last two lines are in the wrong tab, but it's no secret what I'm working on. :) |
14:32 |
Dyrcona |
The tests work, so the backend changes are "correct." I'm stuck on getting the places hold logic in EGCatloader to pass the message correctly. |
16:05 |
Dyrcona |
Well, search is still messed up on my vm, even after a fresh db reload and the git clean -xfd and a rebuild. |
16:06 |
Dyrcona |
I've tried mozart and brahms and they don't return anything with an occasional Internal server error from a cstore timeout. |
16:06 |
Dyrcona |
harry potter with just 1 record comes right back, though. |
16:06 |
Dyrcona |
Guess I'll blow this vm out, too. :( |
16:07 |
Dyrcona |
I did figure out my issue with placing multiple holds. I've got more work to do, and I may possibly rearrange the code that I've written. |

Hey guys, I'm really new to ILS software and was planning to use it for a library of about ~1000 books for my sunday school |
21:38 |
Badman240 |
