Will have an Evergreen services page up on my site soon, hope to be a resource for people looking for migrations and support. I gave a lot of thought to it and didn't want to have to just walk away from the Evergreen community after so many years just because I wasn't working for a company with an Evergreen history, so I have decided to stay involved here as well. |

Could the Encode.pm documentation make any less sense? Yes, it could... And...wait for it...It lies! |
13:40 |

"Because all possible characters in Perl have a (loose, not strict) UTF-8 representation, this function cannot fail." But, encode_utf8 does fail if called twice. |

Hmm. Maybe I'm wrong, again. Maybe its decode that fails, now. I should make sure before I go spouting off. :) |

So, quick Q if anyone is actually working today. On a fresh install of 2.11, did you have to do anything special for the email checkout receipt events to be created? The opt-in setting is enabled on multiple patrons and no events are being created at all. I also can't see anywhere in the code that CircNotify::circ_batch_notify is ever called from anywhere. |
15:35 |
Dyrcona |
JBoyer: No idea. Not there, yet. |
15:35 |
Dyrcona |
Not really working, just fixing SIPServer bugs... |
15:35 |
Dyrcona |
And, I think I fixed two bugs with one branch! :) |

Good to hear someone's having some luck today. :) |

JBoyer: iirc, email checkout receipts only happen in built-in selfcheck and the web client, not xul... but on my phone without code to check ATM |

miker, Looking over the specs finally that sounds more likely. If it works in the web client maybe we can use that as an incentive to get more testing done here. |

I must have assumed it was generic rather than based on interface |

The release notes are also a bit too vague to be helpful re: where this works. |

I figured that I'd better do it today, 'cause once the work week starts, I wouldn't have time. |
