Probably no one around to pay much attention, but I want to share something. |

This morning I started experimenting with different ways of parsing the files and I've made some interesting observations: |

The upshot is, I'm going to skip MARC::Batch and use IO::File with record separator set to parse the files, and then call MARC::Record->new_from_usmarc(). |

With eval in the right place, I can skip "bad" records and load the rest. |
