Ah, that feeling when you discover that memcached has a connection limit. Brisk. |

I can just shutdown a few app servers until I can restart it tonight, but I was looking forward to seeing how things felt with 5-6 more machines behind the LB. Oh, well. |

jboyer-isl: You could always implement a memcached proxy to reduce the number of extra connections. Would be safer mid-day. |

Does the hold targeter take closed dates into account? Like - it wont target a copy for a library that has the current day (run time of cron) configured to be closed? |

Bmagic: yes |

Bmagic: I think it is more of a "closed next time I am going to check" thing, but I am not positive. And I don't know if it pays attention to hours of operations or just closed dates. |

tsbere: There's enough other stuff that I have to see to that if I can get by with just knocking down some vms, that's the way to go. It's already running at 2x the default, that should give me some space. Thanks for the suggestion, though. |

ooh, I wonder if the hold_targeter does pay attention to hours of operation; that could explain why our server hosted in a time zone 3 hours behind us isn't targeting copies properly... |
11:54 |
dbs |
but we're using a 2.7 version so prolly not |
