hmm - hitting an installation problem with OpenSRF 2.4.1 on a fresh Ubuntu 14.04 VM: |

./configure: line 12776: syntax error near unexpected token `CHECK,' |

in https://www.coffeecode.net/archives/208-PKG_CHECK_MODULES-syntax-error-near-unexpected-token-DEPS,.html dbs indicates that installing pkg-config solved his issue, but that's installed too :-/ |

yep. definitely. |

I was about to suggest that after reading the logs. |

09:12 |
csharp |
thanks |
09:12 |
csharp |
I've not hit that before |
09:13 |
jeff |
we could probably avoid by adjusting instructions, either with an explicit "now run autoreconf -i again" or just "install these pre-reqs first, then autoreconf -i, then Makefile.install for remaining pre-reqs" |
09:14 |
tsbere |
I don't think you need to run autoreconf to run Makefile.install anyway |
09:15 |
Dyrcona |
jeff: Always run Makefile.install before running anything else. |
09:15 |
Dyrcona |
And, what tsbere said. |
09:15 |
Dyrcona |
csharp's problem appears to be that either check or pkg-config were not installed when autoreconf was run. |
09:16 |
Dyrcona |
I've hit that and similar issues before. |

Im brainstorming on this wishlist item I created in LP. bug 1496522 One conclusion that I might have is that I shouldn't put a filter condition in the environment? It seems that the only way to specify the "amount owed" threshold might be with action_trigger_fileters.json ? |
