Anyone here have any resources for learning how to use Linux that they particularly recommend? |

Dunno. I started out by multi-booting on my home computer, after a while found that I spent more time in Linux than DOS much less Windows 95, and eventually stopped multibooting and just ran Linux. |

But that took a couple of years. So I don't really know how to learn it all at once. |

I thought about saying "it's very similar to *BSD, once you get past the lack of a ports system and the weird init infrastructure," but decided that would be less helpful than not saying anything. |

Yeah. Actually, if you want Linux with a ports system, there's Gentoo. |
