09:11 kmlussier I'm trying to answer this question posed on Twitter. https://twitter.com/sph0054/status/564338283678031872

09:12 kmlussier I know nobody has translated Evergreen into arabic, but if somebody were to do so, would Evergreen be able to support it?
09:13 kmlussier I know it's written right-to-left.

09:30 mrpeters Morning all, hope everyone had a great weekend!  Anyone doing hourly overdue notices with A/T events?  Trying to troubleshoot a set of them (I think the delay being set at 3:00:00 for a 3 hours overdue item is the problem) but wanted to see a working example of some form of hourly based overdue notice emails.  It's a bit of a new concept for me since I've typically been used to overdues based on full days or weeks.
09:32 csharp mrpeters: can you pastebin the A/T event definition?
09:36 mrpeters csharp: http://paste.evergreen-ils.org/31
09:55 dbs kmlussier: probably wouldn't work well out of the box; the TPAC would need some HTML dir="rtl" attributes in the appropriate spots
09:55 dbs that said, making the TPAC work probably wouldn't be horrible amount of effort
09:56 dbs forget the staff client though. lost cause
10:00 kmlussier dbs: Will the staff client work be easier once we're using the web client?
10:04 csharp mrpeters: sorry - just now returning to IRC and looking at your paste
10:06 csharp mrpeters: the delay_field is null - shouldn't that be due_date?

10:27 dbs kmlussier: it should be, although we'll still need to deal with different date / time formats, currencies, etc; we kind of deal with date/time format input in some interfaces already
10:28 kmlussier dbs++ #Thanks for the clarification!
10:39 mrpeters csharp: ah, yeah i bet you are right.  It's set properly on the similar trigger to mark the item lost after 3 hours so probably an oversight.

11:37 csharp gsams: aaahhhh - sounds nice
11:37 csharp it was like that yesterday here
11:37 gsams csharp: It is nice, but it feels so wrong for this time of year
11:38 gsams yesterday it was 74
11:38 * csharp takes warm weather wherever he can get it
11:38 kmlussier gsams: What kind of temps do you usually have this time of year?
11:38 csharp I was definitely born in the right region
11:38 gsams freezing
11:38 gsams We had an ice storm this time last year
11:39 gsams I remember running in 19 degree weather one morning in January, it hasn't gotten below 25 here as far as I can tell
11:39 gsams And that's the one time it got below freezing this year, the rest it's stayed above 40 for the most part
11:40 * collum has memories of growing up in Dallas. Ice and little snow.
11:41 gsams I think I've seen real snow once out here in my life
11:41 kmlussier For some reason, I had been thinking you would generally be warmer, but I guess you're further north than I realized.
11:41 kmlussier gsams: I have some snow I could send you.
11:41 gsams hehe
11:42 gsams kmlussier: My sister probably does too, she's up in Amherst.
11:42 kmlussier gsams: Yes, she has a lot more snow than me.
11:42 kmlussier In fact, I really shouldn't complained. Out of all the MassLNC folks, I'm seeing the least snow.
11:44 gsams Yeah, I can't say that I'm complaining about my spring weather honestly.  It's just odd.
11:45 kmlussier gsams: We actually were having a very mild and uneventful winter too up until a few weeks ago.
11:45 kmlussier And I wasn't complaining either. :)

11:53 mmorgan1 no, not in the office anyway :^)
12:06 csharp hmm - hit a fieldmapper/reporter issue... I'm using reporter.classic item list and trying to display the age protection rule name, but when the report is created, it's joining it on config.rule_age_hold_protect.id = reporter.classic_item_list.id rather than on reporter.classic_item_list.age_protect
12:08 csharp <field reporter:label="Age Protection" name="age_protect" reporter:datatype="link"/>
12:08 csharp <link field="age_protect" reltype="might_have" key="id" map="" class="crahp"/>
12:08 csharp I don't see an error there
12:37 csharp damn - I can't find the problem
12:37 csharp fieldmapper looks right, rocit.age_protect <-> crahp.id

13:12 csharp kmlussier: snow is (historically) a treat in the south, though we pretty much want it to 1) snow overnight so we don't have to deal with Snowpocalypse traffic 2) stay on the ground for at least 2 days and 3) return to balmy weather by the next week ;-)
13:12 csharp we've had no snow at all so far this winter

13:13 ningalls snow in the south sucks, because everyone freaks out.  drifting snow = highway pileups, school closings, work closings, empty grocery shelves.
13:13 kmlussier I like one good snowfall a year. Enough to get a day of sledding out of it. Then I'm ready for spring.

16:08 jeff oh hey, and now it works.

16:24 goood who wants grid row context menus (of the Actions dropdown)?
16:25 kmlussier goood: I think our people might like it.
16:26 kmlussier dbs: Maybe, but is there any problem with having both?
16:26 * kmlussier will post her job in both places when the time comes.
16:32 dbs kmlussier: only the usual maintenance-of-information-in-multiple-places problems (e.g. people post one place and not the other, missing out on potential candidates), nothing special
16:57 mrpeters1 still fighting this hourly overdue notice action trigger i pasted this morning -- I've got my 2 pending events (1 hour overdue and 2 hour overdue) but the item went overdue at 1:15PM so I'm puzzled why I don't have the 3 hour notice, and subsequent action to mark it lost
16:57 mrpeters1 im wondering if the "delay" is causing this
17:06 mrpeters1 sorry, i got distracted and didn't finish my thought there -- should a 1 hour overdue have a 1 hour processing delay?
17:06 mrpeters1 wouldn't that cause a notice not to be sent until it was actually 2 hours overdue?  also, the Max Event Validity -- its set to 2 hours -- if a cron job failed to run to "run pending" within that 2 hour window, would that cause the notice to fail to be sent?

20:50 makohund quick question... is there a way to change the value of stat_cat (in the asset.stat_cat_entry_copy_map), or must the record be deleted and a new one created with the proper value?
20:54 makohund I have thousands of items with that value set to a stat_cat to one belonging to a different org... which is a bit of a problem.  tried to do an update to the right values (I have the record ID's I need to do that), but it complains about constraints.
20:54 makohund here's an example, trying it with a single record....   UPDATE asset.stat_cat_entry_copy_map SET stat_cat = '6', stat_cat_entry = '110' WHERE id in ('1159708'); ERROR:  duplicate key value violates unique constraint "sce_once_per_copy" DETAIL:  Key (owning_copy, stat_cat)=(216539, 6) already exists.
21:02 makohund wait, nevermind... didn't make sense to me, as the result should have been unique.  but looking from another direction, it is not.  huh.  now I have a totally different sort of problem to solve.
