15:17 bshum kbutler: Well that is a puzzlement.
15:18 kbutler I was certainly puzzled.
15:18 * tsbere wonders what is a puzzlement
15:18 dbs docs getting truncated
15:18 bshum I imagine it's probably just a syntax issue in the rel_2_6 and rel_2_5 branches
15:18 dbs usually due to asciidoc coding errors, yeah.
15:20 bshum I bet it's http://git.evergreen-ils.org/?p=Evergreen.git;a=commit;h=c0e0e39d49f1188575f609cb1c30f3626da678ad
15:20 pinesol_green [evergreen|Josh Stompro] Documentation: LP#1386854 - Locally Hosted Added Content. - <http://git.evergreen-ils.org/?p=Evergreen.git;a=commit;h=c0e0e39>
15:21 kbutler Can anyone help me to understand what is the difference between a 'circulation limit set' and a 'circulation limit group'?
15:21 * dbs briefly considers adding an integration test for doc builds
15:23 tsbere kbutler: Limit group is used in circ tagging. Limit set is a set of conditions to count/limit circs with.
15:24 kbutler tsbere: So limit group is not going to be useful for creating circulation rules for patron types?
15:25 mtcarlson joined #evergreen
15:25 tsbere kbutler: Depends on what you are doing. A group could be used to tag things based on MARC values, for example tagging all vr_format set to DVD circs. You could then limit to 10 DVDs out at a time without worrying about circ mods.
15:26 bshum Aha
15:27 bshum tsbere++ # helping to spot the part that might be broken in the docs
15:30 * dbs feels dumb for just having "invented" the sysadmin's best friend shell syntax: 'bar > foo.out 2>&1 && mail -s "Upgrade part one is done" foobar@example.com'
15:30 dbs Dumb because I'm sure sysadmins have been doing the same sort of thing for decades for long-running processes.
15:31 dbs Now I can go and play games with my kids while I wait for the next part of the database upgrade to complete :)
15:31 bshum kbutler: I removed a potentially errant line from the docs in rel_2_5 and rel_2_6 branches.  Hopefully during the next rebuild we'll see things go back to normal.
15:31 bshum kbutler++
15:32 kbutler bshum++  Thanks!
15:32 kbutler tsbere: Hmm.  Thanks for the explanation.
