08:12 bshum Well that's fun.  Last night left a vandelay queue going to import bibs into a fresh system.
08:12 bshum Loaded 19k bibs successfully and failed all of the items.
08:13 jcamins bshum: who needs items anyway?
08:14 bshum Interestingly, all the 852 holding lines were left in the bib record, so perhaps possible to construct volumes/copies out of that information.
08:14 bshum *anyways
08:14 bshum jcamins: Indeed!

08:57 pastebot "mrpeters" at 204.193.129.146 pasted "Offline Dojo Error" (7 lines) at http://paste.evergreen-ils.org/22
08:57 mrpeters morning all, any guesses at what would cause this?
08:58 mrpeters i reinstalled dojo 1.3.3 for kicks, same error though
09:04 mrpeters alternatively, is there any way i could fling up the pending_xacts file to the server and process them manually in the interest of time, while I troubleshoot?

09:43 * graced is old
09:44 * rfrasur is workin' on getting old and proving fairly successful at the task.
09:44 kmlussier rfrasur, graced: Walla Walla is well known around these parts as it was the hometown of former NE Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe.
09:44 * kmlussier is a big Bledsoe fan.
09:45 * graced files that away for trivia night
09:45 rfrasur kmlussier: Our family members are Browns fans...because someone has to be.
09:45 graced I actually used to live near Walla Walla many years ago - over by Richland, which is now a proud Evergreen library
09:46 kmlussier rfrasur: I'm sorry. I was a Pats fan back in the days when they always lost (there was such a day), so I empathize.
09:46 rfrasur graced: all joking aside, I'd love to visit there someday.
09:46 rfrasur kmlussier: We're so used to losing, it's actually a shock when they do well.
09:46 graced rfrasur: eastern Washington is a completely different climate than western.  I loved it out there.
09:50 rfrasur Hmm, I think I've gotten to the point of creating so many Google forms that I'm wondering when it's too much.
09:51 jcamins rfrasur: I suggest a single form with a single box with the label "Please enter the information I need."

10:11 blongwel Ever since 2.4 upgrade we've gotten db query failed when trying to save to facet index where norm is up-case. Entering value all in caps to start with allows record to save. Any ideas?

10:42 mrpeters ah, not quite the same as the last one i made, but it looks like they got the updated stats indiana data for 2013 which is sweet
10:43 mrpeters jboyer-isl or rjackson-isl should be able to use MapWindow GIS to update your district boundary map now
10:43 mrpeters i had been asking for that shapefile for a long time before i moved on
10:43 mrpeters we only had one from 2011
10:43 bshum phasefx: re bug 1161122, I was planning to help revisit the work there as well.  I think for me, the key factor towards adoption would be resolving all the "missing" fields that people want to still see displayed in the summary.  The rest we're still slowly wading into.

13:05 bshum Hmm, with vandelay import holdings profiles, is it possible to map multiple subfields to a single field?  Like say, I wanted to bring in subfield h as call number, but tack on subfield v at the end which contains some volume data?  (alternatively I know I should probably use some form of suffix or whatnot there, just considering options)
13:13 rfrasur mrpeters: jboyer-isl: People are already lookin' at the Evergreen map!
13:22 jboyer-isl rfrausr: Cool. Online, in-house?
13:30 rfrasur In-house.  We'll find a way to embed it into the website later on.
13:30 rfrasur It's a .pdf, so will have to see if I can't strip it down somehow.
13:31 jboyer-isl ah, a little large?
13:31 rfrasur no, I just want it to be actually embedded in the site rather than just linked.
13:32 rfrasur oh, I guess I could easily convert it to an image file.  n/m
13:32 * rfrasur is thinking in too many different directions.
13:32 jboyer-isl Print, fax, scan, recolor, voila. :D
13:33 rfrasur hah, I have software that'll convert it as is.  press of a button.
13:33 * rfrasur might pngify it though...so maybe two presses of the button.
13:33 jboyer-isl I assumed something simpler would be available. ;)
13:34 rfrasur :D
13:42 rfrasur lol, rjackson-isl++ #you're a serious rockstar.  thank you.  unsolicited kindness is the best kindness.
13:43 jboyer-isl As for the png-ing: if takes a trip through jpeg, there's not much point in worrying about it; the damage is done. Especially if it was already a jpeg in the pdf (likely, I think).
13:44 rfrasur jboyer-isl: I wouldn't have gone through .jpg...but since I have it, I'll use it.  png is just my preference for transparency.  Not necessary in this case.
13:44 mrpeters i can open it in illustrator and make it whatever you want, as big as you want
13:44 rfrasur you're right about the lossyness and damage...
13:44 mrpeters remove, recolor, etc.
13:45 mrpeters illustrator or Inkscape (free) are your go to's
13:45 mrpeters you want like a 72dpi PNG file?
13:45 rfrasur lol, ty ty ty.  I've got when I need.  Am going to send out to other EG libs after I finish up Amazon sorting
13:46 mrpeters that would be 593x765
13:46 mrpeters ok then
13:46 rfrasur mrpeters++ #ty, but the .jpg is pretty better for broader community anyway.
13:46 mrpeters no way
13:46 mrpeters png++
13:46 mrpeters if they can open a jpg, they can open a png
13:46 rfrasur for broader community's learning curve
13:46 rfrasur we know that.
13:46 mrpeters what learning curve?  they just click on it?
13:46 rfrasur they don't.
13:47 rfrasur you know better.  just because something works the same, it doesn't create the same impression with all people.

15:38 mrpeters strangely /df+ metabib.reingest_metabib_field_entries shows 2 rows?
15:49 rjackson-isl mrpeters: From postgres documentation If a schema name is included, then the function is created in the specified schema. Otherwise it is created in the current schema. The name of the new function must not match any existing function with the same input argument types in the same schema. However, functions of different argument types can share a name (this is called overloading).
