Thanks bshum! |

I need some hot tea... |

graced: One question our folks came up with right after we signed off, was whether fulfillment would be able to handle placing multiple holds for the same account. Like for example a book club account looking for 20 copies of same book X for reading group. |

But I figure that it's like Evergreen in this regard and needs a little more dev to build that. |
| 14:42 |
graced |
Indeed. As far as I know you're correct. |
| 14:42 |

puts it on my list |

That sort of thing comes up not infrequently among our ILL end users |
| 14:43 |

I think the trick is actually two fold |
| 14:43 |
bshum |
1) teach Evergreen to make multiple holds for the same account (without overriding each new creation) |

hrm. looks like i was only in here with one client. oops. |
| 14:44 |

2) Give some sort of alternate checkout / fulfillment of hold, where you teach during checkout to satisfy the holds made by the single account, but checkout to real people on their own accounts. |

bshum: I thought we did some development to support that back in the 2.0 KCLS days |
| 14:44 |
bshum |
Number 2 is something we've toyed with MassLNC about in the past too, but hey |
| 14:44 |
bshum |
Things that help Evergreen and Fulfillment at the same time, eh? |
| 14:45 |
graced |
But it may not have gotten finished - changing priorites and whatnot |
| 14:45 |
bshum |
graced: There's some stuff for filling holds when it's the same person and maybe the hold hasn't gone through the capture point yet, but moved straight to checkout |
| 14:45 |
bshum |
But yeah it doesn't do alternate patrons quite yet. |
| 14:46 |
bshum |
And yeah, things are always in flux. |
| 14:46 |
bshum |
Anywho, good to dream |
| 14:46 |
graced |
oh I was talking about book club still |
| 14:46 |
bshum |
Oh, that, heh |
| 14:46 |
bshum |
I think we used to have some variant of it in JSPAC |
| 14:46 |
bshum |
I'm not sure how it was done then |
| 14:47 |
graced |
hmmm... there's a story there that needs to be told at the next conference ... |
| 14:47 |
bshum |
Hehe |
| 14:48 |

Well, I hope that wasn't too painful to sit through - thanks for being there! |
| 14:49 |
bshum |
I think it went very well. :) |

for those that missed it, will a recording be available? |
| 14:50 |
bshum |
jeff: I believe there will be a recording made available later. |
| 14:50 |
bshum |
Or so I recall hearing |
| 14:53 |
graced |
Yes, there's a recording. Lyrasis is handling it so it will likely be available through their site. |

Thanks! |
| 14:53 |

Also, they just asked me to do another session in September |
| 14:53 |
graced |
So, there will be another (hopefully with less flaky audio) |
